Singers Face Masks

These masks made for singers are constructed with two layers of a dense nylon and a middle layer of pellon, which is a non-woven polypropylene, recommended by Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). They are washable and reusable; the ones in the picture have adjustable ear loops to enable a custom fit. These can also be made with ties, or adjustable head elastic.

The pleats and pellon combined provide a pocket in front of the mouth to enable the singer to take deep breaths without inhaling the fabric. These two features enable the shape to be maintained, thus not requiring the use of metal hoops or rings.
